NAHB Residential Construction Management Competition
UNT RCMC Team 2014
The Association of Construction Engineering and Technology sponsored 6 students to travel to Las Vegas, Nevada for the Residential Construction Management Competition. It was a great learning experience for the students and made the bond among them stronger. They went to the convention, IBS show, and attended the career fair. They also got to work with new softwares and upcoming technology in the construction industry. They presented their RCMC project under the guidance of Dr. Diane Desimone who coached, and advised them through the project. Although they did not place in the top 4, the real world experience they gained was well worth it. UNT ACET placed third for outstanding NAHB student chapter of 2013 and walked away with a trophy and money. We are thankful for having amazing ACET members helping us reach this level of success.
